The Outstanding Achievement in Community Outreach and Service reflects the ACFE’s strong belief that members should be active contributors to their communities and be committed to helping improve the places where they live and work. The recipient of the Outstanding Achievement in Community Outreach and Service award must demonstrate that they have been an active volunteer in projects that have resulted in a recognized improvement of their community. This can be demonstrated by the commitment of time or donations to a charitable cause.
Tebogo Manakana has developed an early childhood development mentoring program in South Africa where she helps with compliance and applying for funding and sponsorships. She also runs a food sustainability project and plans and leads interactive youth activities.
For Outstanding Achievement in Community Outreach and Service, congratulations to Tebogo Manakana!
